Even if less than in many other nations, some of the main Italian towns have a structured tramway network. Some others, just like Messina, have recently reintroduced such a public transport system. Besides, there are some particular examples, such as the rack tramway in Turin (Sassi - Superga line), and in Genoa (Principe Station - Granarolo line), or the suburban tramways in Bolzano (Soprabolzano - Caldaro and Soprabolzano - L'Assunta lines) and in Milan (Milan - Desio and Milan - Limbiate lines). There are many interesting photographic places all around the town, often surrounded by the most famous monuments.
