In the "Rail pictures gallery" of Rail on Web there are photos in .jpg format, the originals of which are mostly colour slides. In the gallery of the historical pictures, in addiction to the photos of the authors, there are many official images taken by the constructors of the locomotives or by the FS themselves.

 

The construction of the site and the pictures of the gallery are by Fabrizio Tellini; the pictures of the historical gallery have been taken by Roberto Bruni, Peppino Capra, Claudio and Dario Pisani, Donato Rossi, Uberto Sapienza and Sergio Vadora.
