Germany has always been considered a paradise for the railfans: from the Diesel lines in South Bayern to the S-Bahn in Berlin, from the steam lines in Harz to the industrial reality in Ruhr, a great number of views are offered to the railfans. In the photogallery you can find pictures of some of the numerous lines in Germany, which represent a large variety of the circulating traction material. After the reunification of East and West Germany, the opportunities to take photos to trains and lines in an old atmosphere have grown, even if in the latest years the DB have started a program of renovation which has made some groups of locomotives disappeared, either among the former railways "of the West" (DB) or the ones "of the East" (DR). |
