The world of the locomotives on manteinance services and on industrial links is very large, with tens and tens of different models, whose actual story isn't often known, sometimes in spite of their former importance, when they were employed by a national company, which sold them after being put aside. The FS, too, did this with many locomotives, which can be found today in many places of our peninsula. The variety of models and the liveries they received during their lives, are maybe some of the most attractive elements for the railfan who is looking for these locomotives. Besides there are some workshops dedicated to the repair of these locos, as you can see in this little picture. |
